| Spanish abstract | La corriente principal de la crítica literaria argentina ha considerado a Osvaldo Soriano (1943 - 1997) un claro ejemplo del “antivalor” literario. Sus novelas, su estilo, sus tramas, su s personajes y el vínculo que sus argumentos buscaban establecer con la historia nacional, entre otras cuestiones, han sido descalificados una y mil veces. De hecho, él llegó a afirmar que escribiera lo que escribiese, siempre despertaría “la santa cólera de los críticos”. Sin embargo, en la periferia de la academia argentina y en el resto del mundo — de Chile a Canadá y de Australia a Francia — , desde los años 80 hasta la actualidad, se pueden encontrar importantes abordajes críticos que promueven un reconoc imiento canónico de su obra, no sólo en el marco de la literatura argentina sino también en el contexto de la ficción latinoamericana posboom . | English abstract | Argentinians mainstream literar y current has considered Osvaldo Soriano a clear example of literary anti value. His novels, his style, his plots, their characters and the link that his arguments treat to engage with national history, among others issues, have been disqualified time afte r time. In fact he comes to assume that no matter what he writes, will always wake up the “holly anger of the critics”. Even so, at the outskirt of the Argentinian academy and the rest of the world — from Chile to Canada and from Australia to France — , since the 80 ́s to this days, important critic approaches can be found that promotes a canonical recognition to his work.
