| Spanish abstract | El siguiente ensayo se propone hacer una caracterización de la red social Instagram desde el enfoque de la teoría de los usos y apropiaciones, de Raymond Williams. A tal fin se analiza un capítulo de la serie Black Mirror, a partir del cual se intenta trazar una analogía entre la temática propuesta en dicho episodio y algunos problemas vigentes en la actualidad relacionados con nuestros usos de las tecnologías. Se pensará especialmente en las relaciones entre el espacio virtual y aquel que llamamos “real”, aquí denominados mundos online y offline: los modos de socializar y los diálogos entre uno y otro |
| English abstract | This essay aims to characterize the social network Instagram from the point of view of use and appropriation, introduced by the British cultural st udies. With this purpose, a chapter of the series Black Mirror is analyzed, trying to draw an analogy between the theme of the chapter and some current issues related to our use of technologies. What is mainly taken into account is the relationship between the virtual space and the one so called “real”, that in this paper are denominated online and offline worlds; the ways of socializing and the dialogue between each other |
