| Spanish abstract | El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar las experiencias de mujeres universitarias de la FES Zaragoza (UNAM) ante la violencia digital, los significados que le otorgan y la manera en que le hacen frente. A través de una etnografía digital y mediante un análisis narrativo con perspectiva de género feminista, se encontró que las universitarias en el espacio digital consideran que: 1) este tipo de violencia está normalizada socialmente, 2) hay más condiciones de vulnerabilidad para las mujeres que para los hombres y 3) es necesario implementar prácticas de cuidado personal y colectivo que les permitan sentirse más seguras en dicho espacio. Se concluye que «lo digital es político», en términos de que está atravesado por el poder, ante lo cual las universitarias se organizan para transformar su condición de género |
| English abstract | This paper aims to analyze the experience of women university students studying at FES Zaragoza (UNAM) who face digital violence, the meaning they attribute to it, and the way in which they cope with it. A study using digital ethnography and narrative analysis from a feminist gender perspective revealed that women university students using digital space consider that: 1) this type of violence has become normalized by society; 2) women face greater conditions of vulnerability than men; and 3) it is necessary to implement personal and collective practices of caring, which allow women to feel safer at the university. The study reached the conclusion that “digital is political,” inasmuch as the digital is permeated by power, in the face of which women university students are organizing in order to transform their gender condition |
