| Resumen en inglés | The actual generations, with a sharpened ecological conscience and the sensibility for the defense of the rights of the not human animals, demand for a deepened theological reflection on these subjects. In this article we consider a theology that look at the praxis of Jesus. The thematic of the dignity of the others animals does not need to weaken or to devaluate the human being, this because the text of the creation in the Bible considers a human being to continues the Creator`s intention for life. In the praxis of Jesus we can also see that he offers himself s a sacrifice for all, even for the not human animals. After the death of Jesus the Christianity is born as religious, theological and cultic system that abandoned any possibility to keep the sacrifice of the animals as cultic possibility. Even facing theological mistakes that had been configured historically it is possible to resist to any affirmation that the Christian tradition, in its totality, is imposed as a tradition of violence and indifference in relation to the not human animals |
| Resumen en portugués | As gerações atuais, com uma consciência ecológica aguçada e com a sensibilidade de defesa dos direitos dos animais não humanos, pedem uma reflexão teológica mais aprofundada sobre esses temas. Neste artigo propomos uma teologia que aborda a prática de Jesus. A temática da dignidade dos demais animais não precisa enfraquecer ou desvalorizar o humano; isso porque o texto da criação na Bíblia propõe um humano continuador do propósito de vida do Criador. Na prática de Jesus, podemos ver que ele, ao se entregar, se sacrifica por todos, inclusive pelos animais não humanos. Após a morte de Jesus, o Cristianismo nasce como sistema religioso, teológico e cultual que abandou o sacrifício dos animais como possibilidade cultual. Mesmo diante de equí- vocos teológicos que se configuraram historicamente, é possível resistir a qualquer afirmação que a tradição cristã, em sua totalidade, impôs a si como uma tradição de violência e descaso em relação aos animais não humanos |
