| Spanish abstract | El objetivo del artículo es analizar la relación entre desigualdad social con la victimización y percepción de inseguridad, de personas mayores de 18 años que residen en el municipio de Querétaro. La fuente de datos es la Encuesta Municipal de Victimización y Percepción de Inseguridad (EMVIPE), levantada en febrero y marzo de 2019 por la FCPyS de la UAQ y el equipo del observatorio ciudadano de seguridad pública del municipio de Querétaro. El documento se enfoca en observar cómo las ventajas y desventajas, producto de diferentes inversiones públicas y privadas de infraestructura en distintas zonas de la ciudad, se relacionan con el nivel de victimización y percepción de inseguridad. La principal aportación del trabajo se encuentra en la georreferencia de los delitos, en la medida que se ofrece un panorama sobre la inseguridad en la ciudad, lo cual permite ubicar con mejores herramientas el tipo de delitos que ocurren y en qué zonas |
| English abstract | The objective of the paper is to analyze the relationship between social inequality with the victimization and perception of in security, of people over 18 years old that residing in the municipality of Queretaro. The data source is Municipal Survey of Victimization and Perception of Insecurity (EMVIPE), which was implemented in February and March 2019 by the FCPyS of the UAQ and the Team of the Citizen Public Security Observatory of the Municipality of Queretaro. The document focuses on observing how the advantages and disadvantages, product of different public and private infrastructure investments in different areas of the city, are related to the level of victimization and perception of insecurity. The main contribution or the work is in the georeference of the crimes, insofar as it offers a panorama on the insecurity in the city, which allows to locate with better tools the type of crimes that occur and in which areas |
