| Spanish abstract | Se utiliza el análisis FODA para definir un cuerpo académico (CA) y sus Líneas de Generación o Aplicación innovadora del Conocimiento (LGAC) para el programa de Licenciatura de Agronegocios Internacionales de la Universidad Veracruzana (LAI-UV) en Veracruz, Ver. Se analiza el contexto actual de los agronegocios y los CA en agronegocios y agroindustrias registrados ante el Programa de Mejoramiento del Profesorado (PROMEP). Se identificaron 12 CA en México, de los cuales solo dos se encuentran consolidados, otros dos están en proceso de consolidación, y el resto están en fase de formación. Las LGAC que cn1tivan son muy diversas y fluctúan entre una y cuatro por CA. Se identificaron las fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas del programa LAI-UV que permitieron proponer la creación del CA Agronegocios sustentables con una LGAC: Cadenas agroalimentarias y agroindustriales". Se concluye que el análisis FODA es una herramienta útil para la identificación de líneas de Investigación en instituciones de educación superior |
| English abstract | SWOT analysis is used to define an academic group (CA) and its research lines (LGAC) for1he International Agribusiness Bachelor degree program offered by the University of Veracruz (LAI-UV) in Veracruz, Mexico. The current context of agribusiness and agro-industrial CA registered by the Professorship Improvement Program (PROMEP) was analyzed. We identified 12 active CA in Mexico, of which on1y two are consolidated, two others are in process of consolidation, and the rest are at an initial stage. The numbers of LGAC by CA are very diverse, ranging from one to four. We identified 1he strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the LAI-UV program which allowed proposing the creation of the CA "Sustainable Agribusinesses" with one LGAC, namely: Agribusiness and agro-industrial chains. We conclude that the SWOT analysis is a useful tool for identifying areas of research in educational institutions |
