| English abstract | Artificial intelligence has now gained momentum in the different scenarios of society. Despite the obvious benefits of its development, certain challenges that users must overcome are also considered. In this sense, the general objective of the research is to analyze the opportunities and challenges of teaching-learning in the Natural Sciences through artificial intelligence. To this end, a methodology with a qualitative research type and a non-experimental design is followed. The main results are that most of the studies considered contemplate the benefits of artificial intelligence (AI), but also the implications that its use represents for both students and teachers. It is concluded that the main challenge of education in the new reality consists of the prevailing need to design and put into practice virtual capabilities in order to train competitive professionals in the use of technological tools. |
| Spanish abstract | La inteligencia artificial en la actualidad ha cobrado auge en los diferentes escenarios de la sociedad. A pesar de los beneficios evidentes de su desarrollo, también se consideran ciertos desafíos que los usuarios deben superar. En este sentido, el objetivo general de la investigación es analizar las oportunidades y desafíos de la enseñanza-aprendizaje de las Ciencias Naturales a través de la inteligencia artificial. Para tal fin, se cumple una metodología con un tipo de investigación cualitativa y un diseño no experimental. Como principales resultados, se tiene que la mayoría de los estudios considerados, contemplan las bondades de la inteligencia artificial (IA), pero también las implicaciones que su empleo representa tanto para estudiantes como para los docentes. Se concluye que el principal reto de la educación en la nueva realidad, consiste en la imperante necesidad de diseñar y poner en práctica capacidades virtuales con la finalidad de formar profesionales competitivos en el manejo de las herramientas tecnológicas. |
