| English abstract | Educational inclusion has become a topic of increasing relevance in the field of higher education around the world. Stresses the importance of ensuring equitable and quality access for all students, regardless of their differences and needs; This has come to prominence as part of a global movement towards a more just and understanding society. This article discusses the challenges and perspectives of educational inclusion in the context of higher education in Ecuador. The research is situated in the current framework of the country, presenting theoretical foundations, methodology and findings. The importance of understanding and addressing the current situation in this area is highlighted. To address this issue, a quantitative method and non-probability sampling were used. This method allows us to understand the complexity of the views and behaviors of university students in Ecuador. The article emphasizes the importance of discussing the perspectives and challenges of educational inclusion. Understanding and meeting the needs of students in an ever-changing world is essential to improving the quality of higher education and moving towards a more inclusive and just society. |
| Spanish abstract | La inclusión educativa se ha convertido en un tema de relevancia creciente en el ámbito de la educación superior en todo el mundo. Destaca la importancia de garantizar un acceso equitativo y de calidad para todos los estudiantes, independientemente de sus diferencias y necesidades; esto ha cobrado importancia como parte de un movimiento global hacia una sociedad más justa y comprensiva. En este artículo se abordan los desafíos y perspectivas de la inclusión educativa en el contexto de la educación superior en Ecuador. Se sitúa la investigación en el marco actual del país, exponiendo fundamentos teóricos, metodología y hallazgos. Se destaca la importancia de comprender y abordar la situación actual en dicho ámbito. Para abordar este tema, se utilizó un método cuantitativo y un muestreo no probabilístico. Este método permite comprender la complejidad de los puntos de vista y comportamientos de los estudiantes universitarios en Ecuador. El artículo enfatiza la importancia de discutir las perspectivas y los desafíos de la inclusión educativa. Comprender y satisfacer las necesidades de los estudiantes en un mundo en constante cambio, es esencial para mejorar la calidad de la educación superior y avanzar hacia una sociedad más inclusiva y justa. |
