| English abstract | The article investigates the issue of interculturality in community radio, whose main objective was to analyze the interculturality content broadcast in the programming of Radio La Voz de Guamote, in the period October 2022 – February 2023. To this end, the qualitative approach was used, descriptive and analytical, where the research techniques used were the content analysis of 212 contents of the radio program "La Voz de Guamote" during 5 months, of which 20 contents were randomly analyzed. In addition, an expert in interculturality and community radio was interviewed. The main results of the research determined that radio "La Voz de Guamote", being a community media, plays an important role in the promotion and dissemination of cultural and intercultural content including music, traditions, customs, gastronomy, stories and values of the canton, which are disseminated on social networks through news coverage carried out by the media. It is concluded, in this way, that interculturality is a bridge between diverse traditions, languages and perspectives in the community of Guamote, where the radio station has been a beacon that illuminates the cultural richness of the region by offering a space for dialogue through its informative program, in which the multiple identities present in the locality converge and are celebrated through debates. political speeches, opinions of professionals and experiences of the inhabitants of the area. |
| Spanish abstract | El artículo indaga el tema de la interculturalidad en la radio comunitaria, cuyo objetivo principal fue analizar el contenido de interculturalidad emitido en la programación de Radio La Voz de Guamote, en el periodo octubre 2022 – febrero de 2023. Para ello se utilizó el enfoque cualitativo, nivel descriptivo y analítico, donde las técnicas de la investigación utilizadas fueron el análisis de contenido de 212 contenidos del programa radio "La Voz de Guamote" durante 5 meses, de los cuales se analizaron 20 contenidos de forma aleatoria. Además, se entrevistó a un experto en interculturalidad y radio comunitaria. Los principales resultados de la investigación determinaron que radio "La Voz de Guamote", al ser un medio comunitario, desempeña un papel importante en la promoción y difusión de contenido cultural e intercultural incluyendo música, tradiciones, costumbres, gastronomía, historias y valores propios del cantón, los cuales son difundidos en las redes sociales mediante coberturas informativas que realiza el medio de comunicación. Se concluye, de este modo, que la interculturalidad es un puente entre diversas tradiciones, lenguajes y perspectivas en la comunidad de Guamote, donde la emisora radial ha sido un faro que ilumina la riqueza cultural de la región ofreciendo un espacio de diálogo mediante su programa informativo, en el que converge y se celebran las múltiples identidades presentes en la localidad a través de debates, discursos políticos, opiniones de profesionales y vivencias de los habitantes de la zona. |
