| English abstract | The development of anesthetic techniques has allowed a greater number of surgical procedures, diagnostic and therapeutic in the thoracic cavity. Recently published findings that revolutionize the physiological foundations are based in the Trans ventilation operative in this type of surgery, besides the control of the airway, anesthetic drugs, required monitoring, time of ex intubation and postoperative analgesia. This review aims to update the theme which serves as supplementary material for continuing education. |
| Spanish abstract | El desarrollo de las técnicas anestésicas ha permitido un número superior de procedimientos quirúrgicos, diagnósticos y terapéuticos en la cavidad torácica. Recientemente se han publicado hallazgos que revolucionan los más fundamentos fisiológicos sobre los que se sustentan la ventilación transoperatoria en este tipo de cirugía, además de el control de la vía aérea, drogas anestésicas, monitorización requerida, momento de la extubación y la analgesia posoperatoria. Esta revisión tiene como objetivo la actualización del tema lo cual sirve de material complementario para la formación continuada. |
