| English abstract | In a historical moment characterized by explicit belligerent obscurantism, the debates in Brazil on curriculum transcend the educational field and became battles in many social environments like the media and legislative councils. However, the high temperature of the debate is favorable to the creation of an ambience characterized by the fight between emotional rhetoric to the detriment of deeper analyzes of foundations and implications of the curriculum construction process. The proposal of this paper is to discuss some ideas that could be used as tools for the construction of school curricula not dictated by belligerent obscurantism and, at the same time, not fragmented in a list of issues considered relevant by the many segments of the population |
| Portuguese abstract | Num contexto histórico marcado por manifestações explicitamente beligerantes de obscurantismo, os debates no Brasil sobre o currículo transcendem os círculos educacionais e tornam-se verdadeiras batalhas travadas em diversos espaços sociais como a mídia e as casas legislativas. Entretanto, o calor dos embates tende a criar um ambiente no qual prevalece o choque entre argumentos de impacto emocional em detrimento de análises mais aprofundadas dos fundamentos e das implicações do processo de construção de currículos escolares. Neste artigo me proponho a discutir algumas ideias que possam ser usadas como ferramentas na construção de currículos que não cedam ao obscurantismo beligerante e, ao mesmo tempo, não se fragmentem em uma grande pauta de temas considerados prementes pelos mais diversos segmentos da sociedade |
