| English abstract | This article initially seeks to define some of the terms that concern the communication industry and its way of registering events. From the definition of these terms, it becomes possible to distinguish three forms of dealing with the issue of the transmission of the perspectives of reality – whether or not remaining faithful to facts and events – in the field of filmic expression, based mainly on political and social aspects: information, counter-information and Urinformation. Finally, after this distinction, an inventory is presented, gathering filmmakers and collectives from around the world who, from the beginning of the 20th century to the present days, have worked and been working to combat disinformation, making newsreels, documentaries and films that inhabit the area of the so-called “counter-information” |
| Portuguese abstract | Este artigo busca, inicialmente, definir alguns dos termos que concernem à atuação da indústria da comunicação e sua forma de registro dos acontecimentos. A partir da definição desses termos, se torna possível distinguir três modos de se lidar com a questão da transmissão de perspectivas quanto à realidade – mantendo-se fiel ou não aos fatos e eventos – no campo da expressão fílmica, calcadas, sobretudo, em aspectos políticos e sociais: a informação, a contra-informação e a Ur-informação. Finalmente, feitas as distinções, é apresentado um inventário, que reúne cineastas e coletivos ao redor do mundo que, desde o início do século XX até a atualidade, trabalharam e vem trabalhando no combate à desinformação, realizando noticiários, documentários e filmes que se enquadram na vertente da chamada “contra-informação” |
