| Spanish abstract | La responsabilidad de los docentes como mediadores del proceso educativo en especial en la educación superior, es mucha, toda vez que están formando personas para el futuro, quienes tienen que enfrentarse a los cambios globales y si no están preparados, las consecuencias repercutirán en las generaciones crecientes. Por esta razón, la formación integral es fundamental en la educación y los mediadores deben saber cómo abordarla y desarrollarla en sus estudiantes. En este articulo, se hace una aproximación al concepto de formación integral y se describe brevemente las dimensiones del ser humano de acuerdo con la Asociación de Colegios Jesuitas de Colombia-ACODESI. Se plantea la necesidad y la importancia de ayudar a los estudiantes a que desarrollen sus potencialidades y que sean autónomos en su aprendizaje |
| English abstract | The responsibility of teachers and teachers as mediators of the special education process in higher education is great, since being formed in the future people who have to cope with global changes and if they are unprepared, the consequences will affect in the growing generations. Therefore, comprehensive training is essential in education and mediators must know how to approach of development in their students. In this paper, an approximation to the concept of comprehensive training and briefly describes the dimensions of the human being according to ACODESI.
