| Resumen en inglés | In this article, I interpret the relationship between the categories of quantity and quality from the work of the dialectical materialism of Henri Lefebvre. For this, after a brief introduction of the Biobibliography of Henri Lefebvre, this relationship is reconstructed from the book Formal Logic/ Dialectical Logic as the first volume of a project soon abandoned in circumstances that were explained. As a second step, I explore the relationship between the categories of quantity and quality, on the one hand, and the concept of open totality in the work of the French author, on the other hand. At the end of the essay I indicate how the mediations put throughout the work can become productive for future interpretations of historiographical materials. |
| Resumen en portugués | Neste artigo, interpreto a relação entre as categorias de quantidade e qualidade a partir da obra da dialética materialista de Henri Lefebvre. Para isso, após uma breve introdução da biobibliografia de Henri Lefebvre, reconstruo essa relação a partir da obra Lógica Formal/Lógica Dialética enquanto o primeiro livro de um projeto logo abandonado em circunstâncias que explicito. Como um segundo passo, exploro a relação entre as categorias de quantidade e qualidade, por um lado, e o conceito de totalidade aberta na obra do autor francês. No término do ensaio indico de que forma as mediações postas ao longo do trabalho podem tornar-se produtivas para futuras interpretações de materiais historiográficos. |
