| English abstract | The aim is to analyze the relationship between the disaggregation’s by sex, race and women heads of household in the age group from 18 to 65 years of the Multidimensional Poverty Index (IPM-NIS) in Brazil and in the Southeast regions. For the documentary research, the microdata of the 2010 Demographic Census was use and the multidimensional poverty index of the Social Intelligence Center was applied. The data show that black women presented deprivations that almost all indicators, being the most prominent washing machine, sanitation, education, density dweller and informal work. The study points out the social and racial inequality of women, and the need for public policies to improve the quality of life of black women |
| Portuguese abstract | O objetivo é analisar a relação entre as desagregações por sexo, raça de mulheres responsáveis pelo domicílio na faixa etária de 18 a 65 anos do Índice de Pobreza Multidimensional (IPM-NIS) no Brasil e na região Sudeste.Apesquisa documental utilizouos resultados do IPM-NIS e microdados do Censo Demográfico do ano de 2010. Os dados apontam que as mulheres negras apresentaram privações em quase todos os indicadores, sendo as mais proeminentes máquinas de lavar, saneamento, educação, densidade morador e trabalho informal. O estudo aponta a desigualdade social e racial das mulheres e a necessidade de políticas públicas para melhoria da qualidade de vida das mulheres negras |
