| Spanish abstract | Los poemas del ciclo de Sulpicia, transmitidos al final del libro tercero del Corpus Tibullíanum, son aún hoy motivo de discusión. Hay quienes sostienen que se trata del único registro de escritura femenina del final de la República y, por otro lado, quienes se inclinan por considerarlos obra de un poeta masculino que adopta, como lo han hecho Propercio y Ovidio, una máscara poética femenina. Este trabajo estudia determinados aspectos presentes en la poesía de Sulpicia acerca del espacio de la mujer romana y su actividad, con el propósito de aportar a las hipótesis de la autoría femenina (Parker, 1994; Stevenson, 2005), y si bien está centrado en el análisis del carmen 111.9, se establecen significativas relaciones con el resto del ciclo y con la obra de sus predecesores y contemporáneos grecolatinos que ponen en evidencia algunas configuraciones propias de la escritura femenina |
| English abstract | The poems of the Sulpician cycle, included at the end of the third book of the Corpus Tibullianum, remain a matter of discussion today. There are those who claim that it is the only testimony of feminine writing from the Late Republic and, on the other hand, those who prefer to deem them the work of a male poet who assumes, like Propertius and Ovid did before, a feminine persona. This paper analyzes sorne traits existing in Sulpicia's poetry concerning the space of the Roman woman and her activity, in order to contribute to the hypothesis of feminine authorship (Parker, 1994; Stevenson, 2005). It is centered in the examination of carmen 111. 9, but it also establishes significant relationships within the rest of the cycle and the texts of her Greek and Latin precedents and contemporaries, which expose sorne characteristic outlines of feminine writing |
