| Spanish abstract | Este trabajo intenta llamar la atención sobre las explicaciones superficiales que se brindan en la mayoría de los libros de textos sobre la transmisión de la energía desde la fuente hasta la resistencia en un circuito simple de corriente continua. Puede obtenerse una descripción más significativa de esta transferencia si se conoce tanto la naturaleza del campo eléctrico asociado a un conductor que transporta una corriente, como la de las cargas que lo crean y que se distribuyen en la superficie de los mismos |
| English abstract | This paper attempts to draw attention to the superficial explanations offered in most textbooks on the transfer of energy from the source to the resistance in a simple DC circuit. We can achieve a more meaningful description of the transfer if it knows the nature of the electric field associated with a conductor carrying a current and how the surface charges are distributed on the surface of them |
