| Spanish abstract | El propósito de este texto es reunir las investigaciones con relación al fracaso y reprobación en el nivel de secundaria. Se enfatiza que para mejorar los índices cuantitativos de aprobación o eficiencia terminal, es necesario realizar estudios interdisciplinarios con el objeto de conocer e intervenir la problemática de manera más profunda y atendiendo diversos elementos más sistemáticos. Se parte del supuesto de que la reprobación es un fenómeno complejo y de que su abordaje debe proveer unidad explicativa y comprensiva, en el marco de reflexiones interdisciplinarias: la práctica educativa, los procesos de desarrollo cognoscitivo y de los aprendizajes, la organización y la gestión del sistema educativo y escolar, al análisis curricular y la colaboración social y de los padres de familia. | English abstract | The intention of this text is to assemble the investigations with relation to the failure and reproof in the level of secondary. There is emphasized that to improve the quantitative indexes of approval or terminal efficiency, it is necessary to realize interdisciplinary studies in order to know and to control the deepest problematic of way and attending to more systematical diverse elements. It splits of the supposition of which the reproof is a complex phenomenon and with which his boarding must provide explanatory and comprehensive unit, in the frame of interdisciplinary reflections: the educational practice, the processes of cognitive development and of the learning, the organization and the management of the educational and school system, to the analysis curricular and the social collaboration and of the family parents.
