| English abstract | COVID-19 produced a breach in our daily lives, but the possibilities of managing ourwelfare include the development of productive coping strategies adapted to the new context.This publication shares the results of a quantitative research, carried out via WhatsApp,between the second half of April and the first half of May 2020. 135 young Cubansparticipated in the identification of facts and persons, with positive or negative significance,during the pandemic. Information and data analysis was conducted through the SPSSStatistics.25 package. The findings show the multiple ways in which the crisis has beenelaborated and addressed, where the emphases and arguments supporting these choices areplaced. Thus, elements are provided on which to work to enhance well-being at theinstitutional, group and individual levels. |
| Spanish abstract | La COVID-19 produjo un quiebre en nuestras cotidianidades, pero las posibilidades degestión de nuestro bienestar incluyen el desarrollo de estrategias de afrontamiento productivoadaptadas al nuevo contexto. Esta publicación comparte resultados de una investigacióncuantitativa, realizada vía WhatsApp, entre la segunda quincena de abril y la primera demayo de 2020. Participaron 135 jóvenes cubanos en la identificación de hechos y personas,con significación positiva o negativa, durante la pandemia. La información y análisis de datosse realizó a través del paquete estadístico SPSS Statistics.25. Los hallazgos dan cuenta de losmúltiples modos en que la crisis ha sido elaborada y afrontada, dónde se colocan los énfasisy los argumentos que sustentan estas elecciones. De esta manera, se aportan elementos sobrelos que trabajar en pos de potenciar el bienestar a nivel institucional, grupal e individual. |
