| Spanish abstract | O presente artigo tem como objeto de estudo as mudanças ocorridas no mundo do trabalho e, por conseguinte, no campo da educação, no período compreendido entre a segunda metade do século XVIII e o século XX. | English abstract | This article aims to study changes in the labor world, and so, in education, in the mid-eighteenth and twentieth centuries, particularly, in the last four decades. It takes into account the three stages of the industrial revolution and the administration of labor engendered in late nineteenth century and early twentieth century – taylorism, fordism and toyotism. It stimulates the understanding of the implications between these social changes and educational purposes |
