| Spanish abstract | La relación médico-paciente ha sido y sigue siendo el eje de la asistencia sanitaria. El contexto de esa relación está delimitado por el grado de conocimiento, de habilidades y de actitudes que configuran su sentido humano. Los diferentes modelos de tal relación han cambiado mucho a lo largo del tiempo y mantienen viva la cuestión de cuál debería ser la relación ideal. Y la naturaleza de la relación médico-paciente, quizá hoy mejor llamada “clínico-asistencial” o “sanitaria”, demuestra objetivamente el tipo de persona que somos cada uno de nosotros. En el fondo, lo que se pone aquí en juego es la altura humana de sus protagonistas o, lo que es lo mismo, la calidad ética y profesional de cada persona |
| English abstract | The doctor-patient relationship has been and continues to be the axis of health care. The context of that relationship is bounded by the degree of knowledge, skills and attitudes that shape your human sense. The different models of this relationship have changed a lot over time and keep alive the question of what should be the ideal relationship. And the nature of the doctor-patient relationship, perhaps better called today "clinical-care" or "health", objectively shows the type of person that we are each one of us.
