| Spanish abstract | Este trabajo es parte del proyecto de revisión y actualización del plan de estudio del Programa Educativo de Ingeniería Mecánica Agrícola que con una periodicidad entre 4 y 5 años se realiza con fines de reacreditación ante el Consejo de Acreditación de la Enseñanza de la Ingeniería A. C. (CACEI) y se fundamenta en los avances del conocimiento existentes y prospectivos de la Ingeniería Agrícola, además de las nuevas tendencias y enfoques pedagógicos necesarios en el siglo XXI. Se realizaron estudios diagnósticos documentales rectores de la Universidad Autónoma Chapingo (UACh), de la Secretaria de Educación Pública (SEP), de la Asociación Nacional de Universidades e Instituciones de Educación Superior (ANUIES), UNESCO, FAO, entre otras, así como encuestas y opiniones de empleadores, egresados, académicos y estudiantes de la propia carrera. Los resultados brindan un nuevo perfil de egreso basado en el enfoque por competencias, un nuevo mapa curricular con la incorporación de nuevos contenidos, la introducción de proyectos integradores por semestres que garantizan la eficiencia de titulación, así como la inclusión de la formación integral dentro del currículo, entre otros aspectos novedosos |
| English abstract | This work is part of the project to revise and update the curriculum of the Educational Program of Agricultural Mechanical Engineering with a frequency between 4 and 5 years was performed for the reaccreditation before the Council for Accreditation of Engineering Education AC (CACEI) and is based on the progress of existing and prospective knowledge of agricultural engineering, as well as new trends and pedagogical approaches needed in the XXI century. Guiding documentaries diagnostic studies Chapingo (UACh), Secretary of Public Education (SEP), the National Association of Universities and Institutions of Higher Education (ANUIES), UNESCO, FAO, among others, and surveys were conducted and opinions of employers, alumni, faculty and students of the race itself. The results provide a new graduate profile based on competency-based approach, a new curriculum map with the addition of new content, introducing semesters integration projects that guarantee the efficiency of qualification, and the inclusion of comprehensive training within the curriculum, among other novel aspects |
