English abstract Few management practices have been studied in coriander, such as planting season, choice of cultivars, adequate use of spacing and plant population for these cultivars. Two experiments were carried out in the experimental area of the Plant Science Department at Universidade Federal Rural do Semi-Árido to evaluate the agrieconomic performance of coriander cultivars due to spacing and planting season. We used a complete randomized block design with factorial scheme 2 x 12 and three replicates. Two coriander cultivars (Verdão and Tabocas) with twelve planting spacing (0.20 m x 0.05 m; 0.20 m x 0.06 m; 0.20 m x 0.07 m; 0.20 m x 0.10 m; 0.25 m x 0.05 m; 0.25 m x 0.06 m; 0.25 m x 0.07 m; 0.25 m x 0.10 m; 0.30 m x 0.05 m; 0.30 m x 0.06 m; 0.30 m x 0.07 m and 0.30 m x 0.10 m) were evaluated. We evaluated the height of the plants, number of stalks per plant, leaf/stalk ratio, number of marketable bunches/m² and estimated yields of green mass and dry mass. Economic index such as gross and net incomes, rate of return and profit index were used to assess the coriander cultivars performances. The best performance and economic efficiency of coriander was observed in ‘Tabocas’ and in the planting spacing of 0.20 m x 0.05 m. The best yield performance of ‘Tabocas’ and ‘Verdão’ were observed in the planting season of November to December and June to July, respectively
