| Spanish abstract | La Passiflora incarnata L. planta medicinal de uso tradicional conocida como Pasiflora o Flor de Pasión, perteneciente a la familia Passifloraceae, fue introducida en Cuba desde la América tropical y se ha aclimatado muy bien en el territorio. La misma posee una acción sedante del sistema nervioso, miorrelajante y espasmolítica comparable con la papaverina, según numerosos reportes bibliográficos, que avalan también su inocuidad. Con el objetivo de obtener un producto terminado natural, con factura industrial, basado en esta valiosa planta, se realizó un estudio tecnológico de formulación de comprimidos de Pasiflora mediante un diseño experimental factorial 23. Los factores escogidos fueron: aglutinante (A) a dos concentraciones diferentes, vehículo del aglutinante (V) disolución hidroalcohólica con dos composiciones distintas y diluente (D) dos sustancias diferentes a una misma concentración en la fórmula, resultando los dos primeros de significación en la respuesta evaluada. Mediante el análisis estadístico realizado se obtuvo una forma sólida comprimida con los atributos de calidad requeridos y con el menor gasto de tiempo y recursos |
| English abstract | The Passiflora incarnata L. well-known as Passiflora or Flower of Passion is a medicinal plant with traditional use, belonging to the Passifloraceae family. This plant was introduced in Cuba from the tropical America and it has been acclimatized very well in the territory. Passiflora plant possesses a sedative action of the nervous system, and it is muscle relaxing and spasmolytic comparable with the papaverine, according to numerous bibliographical reports that also endorse its safety. With the objective of obtaining a natural finished product, industrially made, based on this valuable plant, it was carried out a technological formulation study about Passiflora tablets by means of a 23 factorial experiment. The chosen factors were: Binder (A) with two different concentrations, Vehicle of the binder (V) hydroalcoholic solution with two different compositions and Filler (D) two different substances at the same concentration in the formula, resulting both first factors with significance on the evaluated answer. By means of the statistical analysis carried out a compressed solid form was obtained with the required attributes of quality and with the smallest expense of time and resources |
