| English abstract | This text intends to look from the angle of educational practices the performance of the teaching that defines historically as a profession. The author approaches the activities of the teachers since the rudimentary didactics on the sphere of elementary knowledges until the search for information in it’s transmission through the resources to sources not registered extra scholastic. At the same step, shows that the privileged form of punishment of transgression of normatives scholastics – the named “physical correction” – does not configure a practice confined to the past. It shows equally that in the present it is still not only accepted as practice in institutions said educatives. In the portuguese example it was about the doctrinal definitions presented in the board of the Supreme Court portuguese that were received with severe critics from the circle of portuguese pedagogues that inspire themselves in an humanist education |
| Portuguese abstract | Este texto pretende olhar do ângulo das práticas educacionais o exercício do ensino que se define historicamente como profissão. O autor aborda as actividades dos professores desde os seus rudimentos didácticos na esfera dos saberes elementares até a busca de informação e da sua transmissão pelo recurso a fontes não escriturais extra-escolares. Ao mesmo passo, mostra que a modalidade privilegiada de punição da transgressão de normativos escolares – a chamada “correcção física” – não configura uma prática confinada ao passado. Mostra igualmente que no presente ela é ainda não só aceite como praticada em instituições ditas educativas. No exemplo português tratou-se mesmo das definições doutrinais apresentadas no quadro do Supremo Tribunal de Justiça português que foram recebidas com severas críticas pelos círculos pedagógicos portugueses que se inspiram de uma educação humanista |
