| English abstract | This essay aims to theoretically explore the condition of melancholy as a clinical structure from a psychoanalytic standpoint. Based on the book "Psicose e laço social" by Antonio Quinet (2006), the main characteristics of this phenomenon will be presented here, along with what was understood by other authors who have worked these ideas before. Moving from Freud to Lacan, it will be possible to understand the reasons which allow melancholy to be tagged as a psychotic structure |
| Portuguese abstract | Este ensaio tem como objetivo explorar teoricamente a condição da melancolia como estrutura clínica, a partir do viés psicanalítico. Com base no livro Psicose e laço social, de Antonio Quinet (2006), as principais características desse fenômeno serão apresentadas aqui, paralelamente com o entendimento de outros autores que já trabalharam com essas ideias. Fazendo uma passagem de Freud a Lacan, será possível compreender os motivos que levam a melancolia a se enquadrar como uma estrutura psicótica |
