Spanish abstract | Este artículo tiene como objetivo caracterizar la cultura investigativa en los estudiantes de la carrera de Comunicación Social de la Universidad de Guayaquil, describiendo la situación actual de su formación en pregrado y donde no se han desarrollado las competencias investigativas que le permitan ser generador de conocimientos. En la metodología de la investigación se asume una perspectiva cualitativa; entre los métodos que se consideró se tienen teóricos y prácticos. Para la recolección de información que sirvió de base para el análisis y el desarrollo de conclusiones, se realizó una encuesta a los estudiantes del séptimo semestre de la Carrera de Comunicación Social de la Universidad de Guayaquil. En síntesis, se establece que es necesario impulsar un proceso de cambio en el modelo educativo, donde desde el currículo se promueva la cultura investigativa con la participación activa de docentes y estudiantes |
English abstract | This article aims to characterize the research culture in students of the Social Communication career of the University of Guayaquil, describing the current situation of their undergraduate training and where they have not developed the investigative skills that allow them to be knowledge generator. In the methodology of the investigation a qualitative perspective is assumed; between the methods considered to be theoretical and practical. For the collection of information that served as the basis for the analysis and development of conclusions, a survey was conducted to the students of the seventh semester of the Social Communication Career of the University of Guayaquil. In summary, it is established that it is necessary to promote a process of change in the educational model, where the curriculum promotes research culture with the active participation of teachers and students |
