| English abstract | This article refers to the new trends of the forced displacement in the region and the challenges of the international protection of the refugees within the growing mixed migratory flows. Although it is true, there has been traditionally a distinction among immigrants and refugees, everyday there is more agreement on the need to identify their respective problems from a rights-based approach, beginning on the recognition that all persons under the jurisdiction of the State should have protection, in spite of being a native or a foreigner, and if the person is a foreigner, in spite of his/her migrant condition |
