| Spanish abstract | Se mencionan, en primer término, algunos de los principales aspectos básicos por considerar en la elaboración de diseños de agroecosistemas sostenibles, así como los valores humanos requeridos para el logro de la agricultura sostenible. Posteriormente, se señala que sin la consideración e interiorización de los aspectos éticos involucrados en las actividades agropecuarias, no se puede transitar con éxito por el camino hacia la agricultura sostenible. Además, se indican ejemplos tanto de personas como de empresas e instituciones estatales inescrupulosas, las cuales han tergiversado y tomado para si el término “agricultura sostenible” y otros similares, cuando en realidad promueven todo lo contrario, actúan cual lobos con piel de oveja en función de sus beneficios económicos. Finalmente, se resaltan dos ejemplos de personas quienes con sus acciones a lo largo de sus vidas demostraron con hechos la factibilidad de lograr hacer una agricultura realmente sostenible |
| English abstract | Some of the key aspects to consider in the development of sustainable agro-ecosystem designs are mentioned, as well as the necessary human values required for achieving sustainable agriculture. It is then emphasized that without the consideration and internalization of ethical aspects involved in farming activities, one can not successfully go down the path toward sustainable agriculture. Furthermore, examples are mentioned in which both people and unscrupulous businesses and state institutions have distorted and taken for themselves “sustainable agriculture” and similar terms, when in reality they promote the very opposite, acting like wolves in sheepskin in function of their economic benefits. Finally, two examples are highlighted of people who through their actions throughout their lives concretely demonstrate the feasibility of achieving a truly sustainable agriculture |
