| Spanish abstract | Este artículo tiene como objetivo visibilizar y problematizar el oficio de la recolección de datos que realizan de manera cotidiana las entrevistadoras y los entrevistadores del Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía en un contexto físico, social, económico y político complejo. Se pretende redescubrir el trabajo que realizan, más allá de una simple captación de datos, es decir, pensarlo como un oficio artesanal que ellas(os) mismas(os) desde la práctica van construyendo y perfeccionando para llevar a buen término su jornada laboral, donde ponen en marcha su capacidad de resistencia, adaptación y creatividad para construir estrategias que les permitan hacer frente a lo no previsto. Para este trabajo —realizado desde una metodología cualitativa—, participaron entrevistadoras y entrevistadores del Instituto de Querétaro, San Luis Potosí y la Ciudad de México |
| English abstract | The aim of this article is to make visible and problematize the profession of data collection carried out on a daily basis by the interviewers of the National Institute of Statistics and Geography in a complex physical, social, economic and political context. The objective is to rediscover the work they do, beyond simple data collection, that is, to think of it as a craft that they themselves build and perfect from practice in order to carry out their working day successfully, where they put into practice their capacity for resistance, adaptation and creativity to build strategies that allow them to deal with the unexpected. For this work –carried out using a qualitative methodology– interviewers from the Institute in Queretaro, San Luis Potosi and Mexico City participated |
