| English abstract | The present research aims to review database records and analyze reports for amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals that correspond to the Natural Areas (NA) of the State of Mexico, through the information provided by Enciclovida and Naturalista, to contribute to the knowledge of these species; for this purpose, those that are in some categories of risk were chosen.For the varieties selected from each group of vertebrates, the records from both platforms were examined. 30 of the 97 NA have a registry of vertebrates while 10 have the four groups. Thus, the study contributes substantially to nurture the fauna inventory in the NA, since a fundamental part of the content of a management program is the biological characterization of the area. |
| Spanish abstract | La presente investigación tiene el objetivo de revisar los registros de bases de datos, así como de analizar los reportes para anfibios, reptiles, aves y mamíferos que correspondan a las Áreas Naturales Protegidas (ANP) del Estado de México a través de la información proporcionada por Enciclovida y Naturalista, a fin de contribuir al conocimiento de estas especies; para ello, se eligieron aquellas que se encuentran en alguna categoría de riesgo. Para las variedades seleccionadas de cada grupo de vertebrados, se examinaron los registros de ambas plataformas. De las 97 ANP, 30 tienen registros de vertebrados y 10 cuentan con los cuatro grupos de éstos. Así, el estudio contribuye de manera significativa a nutrir el inventario de fauna en las ANP, ya que parte fundamental del contenido de un programa de manejo es la caracterización biológica del área. |
