| Spanish abstract | La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo realizar la validación de constructo del modelo de formulación clínica por procesos básicos de Castro y Ángel (1998). El estudio se efectuó con base en el análisis comparativo de las calificaciones y la integración de los conceptos emitidos por cuatro psicólogos expertos en torno a las bases conceptuales y metodológicas del modelo, utilizando un instrumento especialmente diseñado para tal fin. Los resultados mostraron que los conceptos incluidos se consideran importantes y válidos. Los expertos participantes, sin embargo, plantean reparos a conceptos que constituyen la base del modelo y abogan por cambios en la definición de los mismos. La investigación es el primer estudio realizado para la validación del modelo; sus resultados permitirán estructurarlo y a su vez sentarán las bases para su validación en futuras investigaciones |
| English abstract | The aim of this research was to carry out the conceptual validation of the clinical formulation model founded on basic processes and proposed by Castro and Angel (1998). The study is based on a comparative analysis of four experts’ ratings and the integration of their judgments about the model’s theoretical and methodological foundations, using an instrument especially designed for this objective. The findings showed that with a few exceptions, the concepts included were considered important and valid. However, the expert participants raised some objections regarding concepts that constitute the basis of the model and recommended carrying out changes in their definition. This is the first study aimed at validating Castro and Angel’s model; its results will allow the restructuring of that model and in turn will lay the foundations for validating it in future research projects |
