| English abstract | The article deals with a possible common ground between psychoanalysis and literature. Starting from Marguerite Duras’s work, we can extend the theoretical thinking about the feminine in psychoanalytical theory, particularly the way it is presented in Freud’s and Lacan’s theories. While in psychoanalysis the feminine belongs to the realm of the non effable, lacking a significant of its own, and therefore can only be formulated negatively (woman as not-entirely phallic) Duras’s literary writing comes close to a possible way to formulate the feminine |
| Portuguese abstract | O artigo desenvolve algumas questões sobre o encontro possível entre psicanálise e literatura. A partir da obra de Marguerite Duras, podemos alargar a reflexão teórica sobre a questão do feminino na teoria psicanalítica, especificamente da forma como é desenvolvida nas teorias de Freud e de Lacan. Se na psicanálise o feminino está circunscrito ao campo do indizível, à falta de um significante que lhe seja próprio, o texto literário de Duras aproxima-se de uma escritura possível do feminino. Assim, se na teoria psicanalítica o feminino é o impossível de ser dito/escrito, na literatura testemunhamos como Marguerite Duras vai mais além em relação a esses dois autores, pelo menos no que diz respeito à possibilidade de escrever o feminino |
