| English abstract | This article aims to disseminate the traditional constitutionalism based on the thought of José Pedro Galvão de Sousa (1912-1992), natural law enthusiast, philosopher of law, renowned scholar of history and politics, and also a man with solid and conscious faith. According to the proposed theme, this article analyzes some historical and philosophical differences between traditional and modern constitutionalism, the constitution of society and state, the importance of intermediary groups, and what is necessary in order to have a genuine political representation |
