| Spanish abstract | La tarea de formar ciudadanos democráticos, autónomos, aunque tiene rasgos propios de las circunstancias actuales, es una cuestión que se ha ido definiendo en el proceso de la formación México. La educación ciudadana está vinculada a la formación del Estado constitucional como factor relevante en la historia de la construcción paulatina del servicio educativo. El ideal de la sociedad ilustrada y sus principios político-jurídicos fueron el fundamento de la formación del Estado democrático de derechos moderno, bajo cuya configuración México inició la construcción de sus instituciones como nación independiente con el postulado de que la sociedad democrática sólo puede ser constituida en el respeto a los derechos humanos. Para comprender la relación entre la educación y la formación de México es necesario analizar el constitucionalismo mexicano y conocer los valores jurídicos de la educación como aspecto esencial de la definición de la formación ciudadana. El texto tiene el propósito de presentar una perspectiva de los valores de la educación en la construcción histórica del orden normativo mexicano, es decir, considerando la dimensión jurídica de la cultura. Se describen las transiciones de México y se destacan los principios constitucionales en cuyos valores subyace el sentido del servicio educativo. Con base en la axiología del constitucionalismo mexicano como proceso de institucionalización del Estado democrático de derechos, se identifica la construcción del derecho a la educación y la responsabilidad del Estado mexicano en su cumplimiento. Se termina afirmando que el constitucionalismo histórico mexicano expresa un vínculo esencial entre la formación del país y la de una ciudadanía democrática |
| English abstract | The task of forming democratic citizens, autonomous, although it has characteristics of the current circumstances, is an issue that has been defined in the process of formation Mexico. Citizen education is linked to the formation of the constitutional state as a relevant factor in the history of the gradual construction of the educational service. The ideal of the enlightened society and its political-juridical principles were the foundation of the formation of the modern democratic state of rights, under whose configuration Mexico began the construction of its institutions as an independent nation with the postulate that the democratic society can only be constituted Respect for human rights. To understand the relationship between education and training in Mexico, it is necessary to analyze Mexican constitutionalism and to know the legal values of education as an essential aspect of the definition of citizen education. The text has the purpose of presenting a perspective of the values of education in the historical construction of the Mexican normative order, that is, considering the legal dimension of culture. The transitions of Mexico are described and the constitutional principles underlie the values of the educational service. Based on the axiology of Mexican constitutionalism as a process of institutionalization of the democratic State of rights, the construction of the right to education and the responsibility of the Mexican State in its fulfillment are identified. It ends by affirming that Mexican historical constitutionalism expresses an essential link between the formation of the country and that of a democratic citizenship |
