| Spanish abstract | Se presenta un estudio con el objetivo de caracterizar la flora y la vegetación de la elevación conocida como Loma La Llaga que constituye, dentro del área de la cuenca del río San Pedro, una zona que conserva algunos valores naturales, como parte de un diagnóstico ambiental a este enclave hidrográfico. Se realizaron transectos en los cuales se analizaron la estructura y composición florística de la vegetación, que posee un total de 55 taxones infragenéricos, pertenecientes a 52 géneros de 34 familias botánicas. | English abstract | A survey with the objective to made the characterization of flora and vegetation of the elevation known as Loma La Llaga, which conserves inside the area of San Pedro river basin some natural values was presented; as a part of an enviromental diagnosis of this hidrografic area. The structure and floristic composition of the vegetation were analyzed by transects, with a result of 55 infrageneric taxa, belonging to 52 genera and 34 families.
