| English abstract | Through cultural-religious tourism, there is an incorporation of everyday activities and knowledge of the community linked to popular religiosity into the list of tourist attractions. These activities and knowledge are converted into tourist attractions, reaffirming specific places as tourist destinations in the context of culture and identity. Inside the classification of votive practices of praise to Catholic saints, this study seeks to analyze the (material and immaterial) production linked to popular religiosity in two main historical cities of the State of Sergipe: Laranjeiras e São Cristovão. This article is the result of monitoring and verification of the dance of São Gonçalo do Amarante and of observation of the types of religious ex-vows brought to church in the party of Nosso Senhor dos Passos. The methodology used was the literature research, ethnography in the village of Mussuca and fieldwork in São Cristovão. With the post-field analysis we observed contradictions arising from the increasing observation/participation of tourists in religious rituals, turning the votive dance in a cultural show. After tabulating the data, it was seen that there are changes in the bond/commitment between the devotee and the Christian image, being given a new meaning to the objects related to the reached graces |
| Portuguese abstract | Por meio do turismo cultural-religioso, fazeres e saberes cotidianos de uma comunidade, vinculados à religiosidade popular, são incorporados à lista de atrativos turísticos. Esses fazeres e saberes são convertidos em atrações turísticas, reafirmando os lugares como destinos turísticos no âmbito da cultura e da identidade. Dentro da classificação das práticas votivas de louvação aos santos católicos, o presente estudo busca analisar a produção (material e imaterial) vinculada à religiosidade popular nas duas principais cidades históricas do Estado de Sergipe: Laranjeiras e São Cristóvão. Este artigo é o resultado do acompanhamento e verificação das etapas da dança de São Gonçalo do Amarante e observação dos tipos de ex-votos levados à Igreja na Festa do Senhor dos Passos. Como metodologia, foi utilizada a pesquisa bibliográfica, etnografia no povoado da Mussuca e trabalho de campo em São Cristovão. Com a análise pós-campo, puderam-se observar contradições advindas da observação/participação crescente dos turistas em rituais religiosos, transformando a dança votiva, em espetáculo cultural. Após a tabulação dos dados, verificaram-se mudanças no vínculo/compromisso entre o devoto e a imagem cristã, sendo atribuído um novo sentido aos objetos relativos às graças alcançadas |
