| Spanish abstract | En una época marcada por el racionalismo, la poética de Carlos Fuentes se caracteriza por recuperar las zonas más profundas del ser humano, tanto en la universalidad como en la mexicanidad. | English abstract | At a time defined by rationalism, the poetic of Carlos Fuentes is characterized by the recovering of the deepest zones of the human being, universally and including the Mexican identity. This paper’s propose is to show an approach to four fundamental axes of symbolic imaginary presents in the novels of Carlos Fuentes in his work written between 1958 and 1980.
