| English abstract | Classic business cycles of Sinaloa and Sonora are examined, in the absence of GDP information by entity, data of agro-mining production and domestic and foreign trade is utilized. The importance of considering the business cycles in the histography of that time is revealed, wherein -except for the period of the revolution and the beginning of the reconstruction- existed a strong synchrony between the business cycles of Sinaloa and Sonora with those of Mexico and the US. This can be explained by the primary export-led character of both economies, which were very influenced by the international business cycles. |
| Spanish abstract | Se examinan los ciclos económicos clásicos de Sinaloa y Sonora. En ausencia de cifras del producto interno bruto estatal, se utilizan cifras de producción agro-minera y de comercio interno y externo. Se revela la importancia de considerarlos explícitamente en la historiografía del periodo, en el que ‒salvo el lapso de la revolución y el inicio de la reconstrucción‒ existió sincronía entre dichos ciclos y el de México y de éstos con los de Estados Unidos de América, debido a que ambas constituían economías de carácter primario exportador muy influidas por el ciclo internacional. |
