| Spanish abstract | Este trabajo de investigación es el resultado de un proyecto mucho más amplio titulado: Conflictos de modernidad, nación y sujeto femenino en la narrativa escrita por mujeres, el cual se adscribe a la línea de Historia y Literatura del Centro de Estudios Históricos. Abordaremos el estudio de una literatura vista al margen del proceso histórico-social y cultural venezolano y la desconstrucción de un discurso que a través de diversos géneros busca devolverle a su pasado reciente la presencia de sus voces relegadas. Los temas de la historia, el exilio, la anécdota, la nostalgia y el tiempo se vuelven cómplices en ellas develando las máscaras del “otro”, los nuevos métodos históricos, sociológicos, entre otros, serán algunos de los modelos paradigmáticos a utilizar no para corroborar el papel subordinado de la mujer, sino como instrumento para “dislocar las estructuras que han sostenido la arquitectura conceptual de nuestro sistema y de nuestra secuencia histórica” |
| English abstract | This research paper is the result of a broad project entitled: Conflicts of Modernity, Nation and Feminine Subject in the Narrative Written by Women, which belongs to the line of History and Literature of the Center of Historical Studies. We will approach the study of a literature seen in the margin of the social, historical and cultural process in Venezuela and the deconstruction of a discourse which seeks through different genres to return the presence of voices set aside to their recent pass. The themes of history, exile, anecdote, nostalgia and time become allies through these voices showing the masks of the “other”. The new historical and sociological methods, among others, will be some of the paradigmatic models to be used not to confirm the subordinate role of woman, but as an instrument to “displace the structures which have supported the conceptual architecture of our system and our historical sequence” |
