| Spanish abstract | La incorporación de las Nuevas Tecnologías de la Comunicación y la Información al ámbito educativo promueven la creación de nuevos entornos didácticos que afectan de manera directa tanto a los actores del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje como al escenario donde se desarrolla esta actividad. Partiendo de este planteamiento se tiene como objetivo de esta investigación exponer algunas consideraciones teóricas sobre el uso, especialmente de la Internet, en la educación. Reflexión teórica que se fundamenta en los postulados del paradigma cualitativo, mediante inferencias deductivas hechas a partir de las teorías propuestas por Bruner (1986), Castells (1997), Salinas (1997) Cabero y col. (1998), Harasim y col.(2000) y Sánchez (2001); permitiendo inferir que este nuevo entorno requiere de un tipo de alumno más preocupado por el proceso que por el producto, preparado para la toma de decisiones y elección consciente e inteligente de su ruta de aprendizaje, capacitado para interactuar con estudiantes de diferentes contextos culturales y físicos; y de un docente que sepa emplear la red y sus posibilidades, cómo utilizarla en el aula y enseñar a sus educandos sus beneficios y desventajas |
| English abstract | The incorporation of new communication and information technologies in education promotes the creation of new didactic surroundings that directly affect not only the actors in the teaching-learning process but also the scene where this activity unfolds. Based on this statement, the objective of this study is to express some theoretical considerations about the use of these technologies in education, especially use of the Internet. Theoretical reflection is founded on axioms of the qualitative paradigm, using deductive inferences from the theories proposed by Bruner (1986), Castells (1997), Salinas (1997), Cabero and col. (1998), Harasim and col. (2000) and Sánchez (2201). This reflection resulted in inferences that this new circumstance requires a type of student who is more concerned about process than product, who is prepared for decision making and conscious and intelligent selection of his learning route, capable of interacting with students from different cultural and physical contexts; and a teacher who knows how to use the Internet and its possibilities, how to use it in the classroom and teach its benefits and disadvantages to the students |
