| Spanish abstract | El Diccionario del Cine Iberoamericano. España, Portugal y América, propone por su dimensión transnacional documentar el cine proyectando una diversidad cultural que es propia de la historia de los lenguajes y de su búsqueda por la representación de una cultura. La obra es a la vez un diccionario crítico pero también un atlas y un libro que permite leerse como historia del cine. En él, se trata de conjugar toda la investigación sobre el cine iberoamericano (Brasil y Portugal, incluidos) y provocar futuras investigaciones. En sus páginas se encuentran datos específicos y maneras de contar el cine, pero, además, una clara propuesta sobre el sentido que sus autores le proporcionan al séptimo arte como una industria cultural que debe ser analizada como una fuente inagotable de conocimiento del mundo |
| English abstract | The Dictionary of the Latin-American Cinema. Spain, Portugal and America, proposes for his transnational dimension to document the cinema projecting a cultural diversity that is own of the history of the languages and of his search for the representation of a culture. The work is simultaneously a critical dictionary but also an atlas and a book that allows to be read as history of the cinema. In him, it is a question of bringing together the whole investigation on the Latin-American cinema (Brazil and Portugal, included) and of provoking future investigations. In his pages they find specific information and ways of counting the cinema, but, in addition, a white of egg proposed on the sense that his authors provide him to the seventh art as a cultural industry it must be analyzed as an inexhaustible source of knowledge of the world |
