| English abstract | This article presents the relative reflections to the experience of social control in the Politics of Social Assistance of the city of Londrina/PR, emphasizing the importance of the daily pay accomplishment conferences to foment and to consolidate the participativo process in the definition of lines of direction and the evaluation of the management of SUAS - Only System of Social Assistance. These are carried through with the users of the territories of bigger vulnerability, in accordance with the referenciamento of the CRAS - Centers of Reference of Social Assistance in the period of two months that precedes the municipal conferences. | Portuguese abstract | Este artigo apresenta as reflexões relativas à experiência de controle social na Política de Assistência Social do município de Londrina/PR, enfatizando a importância da realização de pré conferências para fomentar e consolidar o processo participativo na definição de diretrizes e na avaliação da gestão do SUAS – Sistema Único de Assistência Social. Essas são realizadas com os usuários dos territórios de maior vulnerabilidade, de acordo com o referenciamento dos CRAS – Centros de Referência de Assistência Social no período de dois meses que antecede as conferências municipais.
