| Spanish abstract | En este artículo se analiza cómo la formación artística profesional implica interiorizar un modelo profesional que en Occidente se define cultural y corporativamente como masculino. En España, desde 1980, la creciente presencia de la mujer en instituciones de enseñanza artística cuestiona esta dimensión generadora de la formación y el sentido masculino de la “creatividad artística” como competencia profesional. Por tanto se advierten situaciones en las que las mujeres se ven inducidas a transformase en “artistas reproductores” o a adecuar su feminidad a una imagen andrógina al percibir que lo puramente “femenino” se considera incompatible con la figura del “artista creativo” |
| English abstract | Professional artistic training in the Western culture involves a professional model that has to be internalized as masculine according to a cultural and corporative definition. Since 1980 in Spain the increasing presence of women in the artistic educational system has questioned this genderizing aspect of the formation, and the masculine sense of “artistic creativity” as professional competence. Therefore, some situations induce women to become “reproductive artist”, or to adapt their feminity to an androgynous image due to the perception that the essentially “female” is incompatible with the figure of the “creative artist” |
