| English abstract | This article aims to contribute to the understanding of the future challenges of the qualitative research, from the analysis of some significant transitions which may be observed today in that field. It does so, through four movements: plurality, dialogue, rigor and expressivity, like axis of an analogy between the qualitative research and the jazz music.
