| English abstract | The article deals with the two decades of the new world order. The first decade is marked by the prevalence of United States in the economy, culture and politics. Neoliberalism and successful military interventions are a token of this period. In the second, there was a change. After the terrorist attack of September 11th the United States has not been able to maintain its prevalence. Reflections are felt in the two on going wars: in Afghanistan and in Iraq |
