| Spanish abstract | La problemática ambiental, plantea la necesidad de desarrollar una cultura que aporte una conciencia sobre sus causas y vías de solución para el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida, lo cual solo se puede lograr a través de la Educación Ambiental. El presente trabajo con el objetivo de determinar los fundamentos teóricos del proceso de Educación Ambiental para la disciplina Bases Biológicas de la Medicina, se apoya en la integración de métodos teóricos y empíricos que asumen como enfoque general el método dialéctico – materialista para la determinación de los componentes y las principales relaciones dialécticas entre ellos. Como resultado se ofrece una propuesta de fundamentos del proceso de Educación Ambiental para la disciplina Bases Biológicas y una estrategia para su implementación, considerando que con su implementación se garantizará una mayor preparación de los docentes para enfrentar la introducción de la dimensión ambiental |
| English abstract | The environmental issue raises the need to develop a culture that provides new generations with an awareness of its causes and ways of solving, in order to achieve the protection of the environment and therefore guarantee the improvement of the quality of life and health, which can only be achieved through Environmental Education. The present work was carried out with the objective of determining the theoretical foundations of the Environmental Education process for the Biological Bases of Medicine discipline. The research process is supported by the integration of theoretical and empirical methods that assume as a general approach the dialectical - materialist method for the study of the process of the development of Environmental Education, the determination of the components and the main dialectical relationships between them, and the assessment of the viability of the proposal. As a result, a proposal is offered on the foundations of the Environmental Education process for the Biological Bases discipline and a strategy for its implementation, considering that its implementation will guarantee a greater preparation of teachers to face the introduction of the environmental dimension and the training of the doctor that the contemporary society needs |
