| English abstract | In this work, we show that in Yaqui language it is possible to distinguish four lexical patterns: i) motion and path; ii) motion and manner; iii) motion, path and cause; and iv) motion, path and figure. Likewise, we determine that the occurrence of lexical patterns has implications in the syntactic structure of movement events, because the events with lexical patterns i), ii), and iv) have intransitive syntactic structures, where the figure corresponds to the subject of the sentence. Meanwhile, the events with a lexical pattern iii) have transitive syntactic structures, where the figure corresponds to the direct object. |
| Spanish abstract | En este trabajo mostramos que en lengua yaqui se distinguen cuatro patrones lexicales: i) movimiento y trayectoria; ii) movimiento y manera; iii) movimiento, trayectoria y causa; y iv) movimiento, trayectoria y figura. Asimismo, determinamos que la ocurrencia de un patrón lexical tiene implicaciones en la estructura sintáctica del evento de movimiento, pues los eventos con patrones lexicales i), ii) y iv) tienen una estructura sintáctica intransitiva, donde la figura corresponde con el sujeto de la oración. Mientras que los eventos con patrón lexical iii) tienen una estructura sintáctica transitiva, donde la figura corresponde con el objeto directo. |
| Portuguese abstract | Neste artigo mostramos que em Yaqui se distinguem quatro padrões léxicos: i) movimento e trajetória; ii) movimento e maneira; iii) movimento, trajetória e causa; e iv) movimento, trajetória e figura. Também determinamos que a ocorrência de um padrão léxico tem implicações para a estrutura sintática do evento do movimento, já que os eventos com padrões léxicos i), ii) e iv) têm uma estrutura sintática intransitiva, onde a figura corresponde ao sujeito da sentença. Enquanto os eventos com padrão lexical iii) têm uma estrutura sintática transitiva, onde a figura corresponde ao objeto direto. |
