| Spanish abstract | En el contexto pluricultural caribeño, donde cerca de un millar de personas no habla el español, es fundamental desarrollar un bilingüismo eficiente con esta lengua como L2. Siguiendo un método dialógico se ha trabajado con varias comunidades lingüísticas de la región un manual que considera la lengua un instrumento de interacción y no un objeto de estudio; el cual induce a comprender la situación sociolingüística de la región y a realizar proyectos de aprendizaje que siguen el enfoque comunicativo, operativizado por las variables: ciclos de aprendizaje, inmersión contextual, competencias a desarrollar, participantes y espacios de aprendizaje, aprendizaje cooperativo, procesos de evaluación |
| English abstract | It is a must to develop an efficient L2 Spanish bilingual program if one takes into account that about a million people do not speak this language within the premises of the multilingual Caribbean region. In order to bridge this gap, several native communities have been working on the elaboration of a manual, which reflects the idea of language as a vehicle of interaction rather than an object of study by itself. Congruent with this view, it is of paramount importance to approach the study of this region from a sociolinguistic perspective, focusing on research projects that prevail the use of communicative methodologies. It is also necessary to pay special attention to variables such as learning cycles, contextual immersion, linguistic and communicative competence development, and learners. Likewise, it is urgent to address other aspects like learning contexts, cooperative learning, and evaluation and assessment processes |
