| Spanish abstract | Este texto pone en evidencia los valores ideológicos del Tristan en prose, novela del siglo XIII, basado en elementos primordialmente opuestos como el contexto cristiano que abre la novela y su dimensión profana que consolida a Tristán e Iseo como los representantes absolutos de una ética cortés y caballeresca. Se muestra así la incapacidad que tiene el autor anónimo para apartarse de la tradición literaria anterior (especialmente el contexto de las novelas del Grial) y la forma cómo ésta es adaptada a los ideales propios de una sociedad caballeresca |
| English abstract | This text demonstrates the ideological values of the Prose Tristan, a thirteenth century novel, based on extremely opposed elements as the Christian context that opens the novel and the profane dimension that consolidates Tristan and Isolde as representatives of an absolute courtly and chivalric ethics. That way it shows the disability the anonymous author has to get off the previous literary tradition (especially the context of the novels of the Grail), and how this is adapted to the ideals of a chivalric society |
